West Cork & the 3 peninsulas  6 days/7 nights

Lesser know than Kerry or Connemara, this South West area is a wellspring of Ireland’s best.

Barrens, seascapes and history to be found at every corner.

A truly eco-friendly lodge will accomodate you during your Irish stay. Located on a hillside in the countryside with all the necessary comfort and facilities (wifi, bathroom, wood heating, induction stove)

Books and conversation replace television here, for a very moderate price (you can compare with other offers on the web), for you are not dealing with third parties.

Travel plan :

Day 1 Welcoming you to the airport of your choosing (Dublin or Cork).

Day 2 Beara peninsula and hiking on Dursey island, visiting historical sites dating back to to prehistoric times.

Day 3 Hiking from Gougane Barra to Conigar barrens.

Day 4 Mizen Head peninsula through its castles, radio station and Crookhaven village.

Day 5 Discovery and hiking on Sherkin island with its Franciscan priory and its seventeenth century castle.

Day 6 Sheep Head peninsula and hiking the Sheep Head Way.

Day 7 Sea excursion to discover Irish sea fauna (dolphins, basking sharks, seals…).

Day 8 Back to the airport of your choosing (Dublin or Cork).

Connemara & Mayo hiking 6 days/7 nights

Two mythical areas of West Ireland, not to be missed, but we’ll try to avoid crowded spots to favor more remote areas.
Includes a very comfortable accomodation near Westport for wonderful guided hikes in  Connemara and the West of Mayo county.
Very affordable rate for 2 to 4 people. The rate will scale with more people.

Day 1 Welcoming you to the airport of your choosing (Dublin or Knock),

Day 2 Hiking in Ballycroy National Park, in the last wild peat bogs area in Europe,

Day 3 Croagh Patrick hiking and brewery visit and local beers tasting,

Day 4 Sheeffry moutains hiking and introduction to flyfishing (if you wish),

Day 5 Maumturks mountains hiki,g, where Nature and History mix perfectly,

Day 6 Inishbofin island hiking and historial discovery

Day 7 Hiking through Joyce Country and the Great Lakes of Western Ireland

Day 8 Back to the airport of your choosing (Dublin or Knock).

For hiking in the Western islands, these rates do not include the ferry crossing (to be paid directly to the ferry company).
