Organized and designed for passionate fly fishers (beginners welcome), this is an opportunity to explore one or two regions of Ireland during six full days of fishing in a small group of 2 to 4 anglers.

Each trip is personally hosted by me (welcoming, transportation, guiding).

  • 2 distinct fishing zones are featured: the Wild West, covering the counties of Mayo and Sligo, and the Nore Valley in the counties of Laois and Kilkenny.
  • The Irish West, with its more mountainous terrain, is home to rivers with variable flow rates, often granite-based, but also features little-known limestone streams where you can find beautiful brown trout…
  • On top of that, the last Ice Age left thousands of peatland lakes where trout rarely encounter artificial flies.

The River Nore, spanning 140 km, flows through the fertile plains of southeastern Ireland. It is fed by numerous small tributaries, perfect for engaging spot fishing.
Lesser known than its sibling, the River Suir, the Nore offers a variety of character, including riffles, smooth glides, and deep pools with stable gravel beds, providing enjoyment for all fly fishers.
The density of 100% wild trout may surprise even seasoned anglers, especially during hatches !
These fly-fishing trips in Ireland are open to everyone, whether you come as part of a group or register individually.
Trips are guaranteed with a minimum of two participants.
Please note: custom dates can be arranged for private groups.

On these two trips, you will enjoy

  1. Personalized support from your arrival in Dublin to your departure.
  2. Transportation throughout the trip.
  3. Guided and personalized fishing assistance with no intermediaries.
  4. Accommodation in a cozy cottage.
  5. Fishing gear and materials provided (rods, reels, flies, etc.).
  6. Flexible fishing schedules (morning to evening) with a half-board option.
  7. Fishing permits included for private fishing areas.
  8. A wide variety of rivers and the chance to fish peatland lakes (West Ireland).
  9. Wild brown trout (no stocked fish) and 100% natural fishing.
  10. Primarily dry fly fishing, but also wet fly and nymph fishing.

Ireland Fly Fishing from East to West

A unique, itinerant fly-fishing trip exploring two regions of Ireland over six days, divided into two sets of three days.
You’ll fish different locations each day, including spate rivers, a limestone river, scenic peatland lakes, and, of course, the magnificent River Nore and its tributaries.
So many opportunities to drift your flies across diverse waters and catch naturally bred brown trout with their distinctive markings.
